Seeing spots

Lately i noticed Olive, my beautiful girl, my sweet little red head, has begun developing bald spots. How could MY daughter, the daughter of a hairdresser receive such a hideous abomination?

Here is a picture of Olive looking out the window, missing her freedom. What am i supposed to do walk her? The nieghbors would see her spots! what would they think? Another thing that has me worried is her constant need to sunbathe, i'm like "Olive you're already tan!!!" she lays out until her eyes are all pink (seen below in the picture)

How do i keep Olive's overly high self asteem alive when her once beautiful shiny fur is so hideous? I see the way she looks at Kingsly, and his long thick mane.

So silly of me, to ask for advice in parenting my children, i'm like, the greatest dog mom ever. I mean, Kingsly even cleans up his own poop! Such perfection.

Taking Olive to the salon for some major intervention, i'm going to start putting prenatal vitamins in her kanine krunchies. Olive hopes to see you all soon, when she's, ehem, "better". Until next time ! WOOF WOOF!

I wanted to take a break from my regular light hearted doggy blog, to talk about something a little more serious.. K9 narcolepsy, since birth Kingsly has had excessive daytime sleepiness, which certainly IS NOT from his constant eating or laziness in general, CLEARLY there is something medically wrong, because i'm pretty sure its not genetics, i am FAR from lazy, look how clean my house is! underneath the vodka bottles and pizza boxes is a very clean floor. i think. 

Here is Olive worrying about Kingsly, sleeping again mid day, while all the neighbor doggies are outside playing.

If we take a walk around the block, kingsly often has to take short nap breaks.

Kingsly again, falling asleep during the "doggy fashion show" photoshoot, lookin good takes energy. 

I worry that all my excessive drinking may have caused this when he was in womb, Poor little fella, i should have listened to those posters in the bathroom at the bar. 

I suppose we all should be jealous of our sweet boy, the rest of us have to be "grown ups" and go to work,  do the dishes, pee outside, do tricks such as "sit" and "stay" .

Well, he does know how to "play dead" he's not totally useless. I never expected to have a disabled child, but i'm so glad i didn't put him in a basket and float him down the Nooksack like anybody else would have.

Bath time is our favorite time!
such a great opportunity to bond with our children. I can really feel us connecting during the 5 minute wait of their flea and tick "murder" shampoo. Olive doesn't find this necessary as she claims to have no fleas, because she's obviously too perfect, but mocks Kingsly because his long fur is the perfect habitat for critters!

OH what.. your kids don't have fleas? have u ever heard of head lice? same diff. Why don't you stop judging and start doing a comb search through your kids head.

We refuse to take our doggies to the groomer, we're DIY parents.  Our pups are all homeschooled, homefed (kibble of course) we want our dogs to grow strong and live long healthy lives, so that if we collapse from alcohol poisoning they can allert the neighbors.. you know, like "Lassie" .

Well, with my three jobs plus being a stay at home mom, i really have my hands full! I finally found the solution, a doggy stroller! Now i can do my daily workout with my precious babies in tote, which if any of you want to join me is me walking to trader joes with 2 beers in my SUPER convenient cup holders on the handles of the DOGGY stroller, then i buy more beer, walk home with 2 more beers in the cup holders. 

 

Both of my super healthy doggies fit in the stroller, sometimes our doggy friend Layla comes for a ride too! It's really too bad all my dog mom friends have been backstabbing me because they are so jealous of my leopard print stroller and my super fat stomach. 

Maybe i will pray for them. as soon as i find jesus.
